Sketch Chain
Draw the line, describe the drawing, and watch it fall apart.
Everybody writes a phrase, then draws somebody else’s, then guesses somebody else’s drawing, and round it goes. What comes out the other end is rarely what went in, and the reveal is the whole game.

How it plays
You draw with a finger on your own phone, so nobody is queueing for a pen and nobody can see what you are doing. Each pass hands your drawing to the next player, who writes what they think it is, and their guess goes to the player after that to draw. Nobody sees the chain until the end. Then Koven plays it back one link at a time, from the phrase somebody wrote to the thing that arrived eight steps later, and the room works out exactly where it went wrong.
What happens in a round
Straight from the game itself: these are the phases the room moves through, in order, with the clock each one starts on.

How you can play it
Online room
Everybody on their own phone, in the same room or three hundred miles apart. Guests join with a four letter code and no download.
Party screen
The telly or a laptop shows the game to the whole room. Phones become controllers, so nobody has to squint at somebody else’s screen.
Play it with your own words
Every format runs on a deck, and you can write your own. A deck you make is yours to share with your family by code straight away. Anything you publish to strangers is read by a moderator first.
