Who in the room has to pay
The host, and only if they want the things on the Koven+ list. If eight of you are playing and nobody has a subscription, you play every format in the app with no interruption and nothing greyed out. If the person hosting does have one, the whole room gets the bigger room and the party screen without anybody else doing anything at all.
What happens if you stop paying
Nothing you made goes anywhere. Your decks stay yours, your account stays yours, and every format stays playable. What goes back to the free tier is the hosting: rooms return to 8 seats, the party screen stops attaching, and premium packs stop appearing until you subscribe again. A deck you wrote that is larger than the free limit is still there and still playable. We do not delete somebody's work because their card expired.
Buying one pack instead
If there is one premium pack you want and the rest of Koven+ is not for you, you can buy that pack on its own and keep it forever, on every phone you sign in on. It is not a subscription and it does not expire. Koven+ includes every premium pack, so buying more than a few of them separately stops making sense fairly quickly, and we would rather say that here than let you find out later.
Children and payment
Koven never asks a child to pay for anything. Purchases go through the app store on the device, which is where a parent has already set up whatever approval they want, and we do not add a second payment route around it. There is no in game currency, there are no loot boxes and there is nothing that costs money in the middle of a game.
Refunds and cancelling
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so both cancelling and refunds happen in your store account rather than by emailing us. If a store has turned down a refund you think you are owed, write to us anyway and we will help you argue it. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is taken away before then.
