Team Words
One word, one number, and a grid your team has to read your mind on.
A grid of words on the shared screen, two teams, and one person per team who can see which words belong to whom. Their whole vocabulary for the turn is a single word and a number.

How it plays
The clue giver looks at the board on their phone and sees the words their team is after, the words that belong to the other team, and the one word that ends the game on the spot. They say one word and a number, and their team argues its way through the grid until they stop or get one wrong. The pleasure is entirely in the near miss: the clue that covers three words beautifully and one word disastrously. Best with the board on a telly so both teams are reading the same thing.
What happens in a round
Straight from the game itself: these are the phases the room moves through, in order, with the clock each one starts on.

Who it suits
- Two teams who fancy being cross with each other for twenty minutes
- Rooms with a big screen, though phones alone work fine
- Players who like a game where thinking longer actually helps
How you can play it
Online room
Everybody on their own phone, in the same room or three hundred miles apart. Guests join with a four letter code and no download.
Party screen
The telly or a laptop shows the game to the whole room. Phones become controllers, so nobody has to squint at somebody else’s screen.
Play it with your own words
Every format runs on a deck, and you can write your own. A deck you make is yours to share with your family by code straight away. Anything you publish to strangers is read by a moderator first.
